Labor Day Holiday: Payroll Deadlines Altered

Attention Managers of Staff and Students: This year, JWU will observe the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 2. As a result, the payroll processing schedule and deadlines will need to be altered for that week. Please adhere to the revised payroll processing deadlines listed on the “Manager News Page” of HRpulse to ensure proper and timely payment of wages for all employees.

  • Sept 8 – Ignite the Night, 8pm, Gaebe Commons

  • Sept 10 – Meet the University Involvement Board, 2-5pm, Gaebe Commons

  • Sept 12 – Food Truck and Outdoor Movie Night, Harborside Campus

    • Food trucks arrive for 7pm

    • Movie: Aladdin (live action version) starts at 8pm

  • Sept 13 – Involvement Fest, 2-4pm, Gaebe Commons

  • Sept 14 – JWU Zoo Takeover at Roger Williams Zoo, 5-9pm

  • Sept 15 – Battle of the Bands, 5-7pm, Wildcat Center Lounge

  • Sept 16 – Meet the Greeks, 4-7pm, Gaebe Commons

Save the Date: The JWU Good Life Expo 2019

The JWU Good Life Expo presented by Performance Food Group of Springfield, Mass., is taking place on Wednesday, September 25, from 11am – 2pm in the Wildcat Center Gym on our Harborside Campus. All Wildcats are welcome to attend.

The expo actively engages the JWU community in an experience that promotes holistic well-being. Come learn about a variety of health and wellness resources available on and off campus. If you are interested in volunteering at the event or if you have any questions, please contact Kristen Buglione, director of health education.
