Watch Live: Graduate Studies Commencement, May 3

The commencement ceremony on Friday, May 3, at 11am, is for degree candidates from the doctoral and graduate studies programs - excluding Physician Assistant students, who have a separate ceremony later in the month. Johnson & Wales will award 14 doctoral degrees (Ed.D.) and 320 graduate degrees (MBA, M.A.T., M.S., M.Ed., M.S.P.A.S.).

Cindi Bigelow, president and chief executive officer, Bigelow Tea, will receive an honorary Doctor of Business Administration and present the keynote address.

Wildcat Wahoo Carnival is This Weekend

Join the JWU community for one of the biggest events of the year—the annual Wildcat Wahoo Carnival this Saturday, May 4. Enjoy a variety of rides, games, novelties, food trucks, and entertainment on the Harborside Campus (F lot). Gates open at 1pm. Tickets are $15 each for faculty, staff, and their guests; free for JWU students. Please note: this event is not open to the general public.

Ticket booklets include tickets for food, drinks, games, and novelties. This year’s feature performer is musical artist Ayokay, along with the JWU student dance group Ataxia.

10th Annual Arts & Sciences Academic Symposium

To recognize outstanding undergraduate work, the John Hazen White College of Arts & Sciences is hosting their 10th Annual Academic Symposium on Wednesday, May 1, from 4-6pm in the presentation room of the John J. Bowen Center for Science and Innovation. This event is open to all members of the university community. Students will offer brief presentations of their work before receiving their certificates.
