New Print Service Vendor

As of Monday, April 1, printers on the Providence Campus will be serviced by Canon. This change to Canon from HP delivers significant cost savings while providing the same service elements.

  • Toner levels will be monitored by Canon, who will send replacements when the toner reaches a set depletion level.

  • Requests for assistance with printers should continue to be submitted as a ticket to the IT Service Desk. Contact info: it@jwu.edu or by calling 1-866-598-4357. Please be prepared to provide the JWU asset tag number (found on the front of the printer).

Please note: While Canon will be servicing HP printers, JWU will not be moving to Canon devices across the board.

This information is also available on the IT website, which you can reach through the Gateway.

JWU Represented at the CASE District I Conference in Boston

Alumni Relations
Liza Gentile ’18 MBA, manager of alumni relations and Lori Zabatta ’95, director of alumni relations, along with their alumni relations colleague from Lesley University, co-presented a session titled, Get on the Dean’s List: Developing Key Relationship with Academics on Campus at the CASE District 1 Conference on March 15. This session informed more than 50 attendees about how alumni relations works to leverage faculty, deans and department chair relationships with alumni to create meaningful experiences that build alumni engagement on our campus.

University Communications
Jennifer Brouillard, senior writer-editor, served as the awards program editor for the CASE District 1 Conference. She worked with sponsors and committee chairs to produce a program that listed all CASE District I awards won by institutions this year. These awards are presented at the CASE District I Annual Meeting. In addition, she hosted three panels during the two-day conference, ensuring that the sessions ran smoothly and introducing the speakers.
