Safety Reminder: See Something, Say Something

Campus Safety & Security would like to remind the JWU community to be aware of any suspicious persons or activity when entering and exiting buildings, and to notify the office with that information as soon as possible at 598-1103. While holding the door for someone is a courteous gesture, it is important to not allow unfamiliar and non-JWU people into JWU buildings. Please also protect your valuables by using locks on lockers in fitness centers and other common spaces on campus.

Campus Safety & Security strives to keep the JWU campus and community safe at all times, but everyone plays an important role. When you see something, say something!

Make it a Family Movie Night at JWU: A Star is Born

JWU’s University Involvement Board (UIB) hosts a weekly movie series in the Wildcat Center on Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons. Faculty and staff are welcome to attend - bring your family! Entrance is free, and popcorn is served. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks.

New Room Scheduling Software and Request Form

JWU has transitioned from R25 to Ad Astra, a new room scheduling software. This program allows everyone to see the availability of event and meeting spaces on campus in real-time. It will also help you locate an available room that meets your requirements when completing a room request form.

Student Involvement & Leadership will be holding 60-minute training sessions in support of this transition in the Wildcat Center Lounge, Harborside Campus.

  • Tuesday, February 26 at 3:30pm

  • Thursday, February 28 at 11am

It is strongly encouraged that faculty and staff attend if you or your office request rooms on campus for meetings, events, etc. Please note: students requiring rooms for clubs and organizations will continue to reserve rooms through the Involvement Network.

If you have any questions, please contact Ian Martin or Darrell Miller in Student Involvement & Leadership.
