A shredding company will be on the Harborside Campus for JWU’s annual Shred Fest on Wednesday, July 10, from 9am-1pm, outside of The Friedman Center (in the parking area along the side of the museum entrance). Department representatives can bring their items for shredding at no cost to the department. Offices can request temporary bins and must be picked up by Wednesday, July 3.
Please reference the university’s Record Retention Policy for guidance on what to, and what not to, shred. For additional clarification on record retention, contact Nick Tella, director of information security, at 401-598-3030. For questions about the Shred Fest program or to request a temporary bin, contact Matt Fannon, sustainability and energy conservation manager, 401-598-4498.
