JWU Newsmakers

With the recent passing of President George H.W. Bush, the media covered the story from many angles. TJ Delle Donne ’04, ’07, CEC, assistant dean, College of Culinary Arts, and Liz Covino, CHE, associate professor, College of Hospitality Management, are featured in a Providence Journal article. Delle Donne reflects on his first-hand experience cooking for the late president, and Covino provides insight into the myriad protocols for a funeral of this caliber. In addition, both Delle Donne and Covino were interviewed for WPRO 630AM/99.7FM 

Providence Business News examined the unique partnership between JWU and RISD as a result of the $250,000 Henry P. Kendall Foundation grant awarded in November. Read more.

Campus Announcement

Alarm and Sprinkler Testing
Facilities Management will be conducting fire alarm and sprinkler testing throughout the Harborside and Downcity campuses from Monday, December 10 through Monday, January 7. These tests will occur sporadically and throughout all of our buildings, including residence halls. The fire alarm will set off short beeps. The sprinklers will not discharge and no alarms will sound. We apologize in advance for the disruption.
